Hi Everyone! If you’re new here, you will be hearing about the
Mom 2.0 Summit. The Tasteful Life co-produces this event with Kirtsy.com.
What is the Mom 2.0 Summit?
It’s a conference where attendees from all over the nation come together to talk shop with influencers, industry leaders, and leading brands as they discuss best practices, discover how to engage their audience, build relationships, and take their business to the next level.
Most importantly it is a perfect place to meet your online friends and co-conspirators in a smart and positive environment. So if your a blogger, a small business owner, a big business owner, a brand ambassador, head of marketing, or a curious smart human you may want to attend.
How many people attend?
FEB 2009: First year of the Summit. About 200 attendees. Locale was the Four Seasons in downtown Houston.
FEB 2010: Second year of the Summit. About 300 attendees made their way to the Four Seasons. Same locale.
APRIL 2011: Third year of the Summit. Expecting about 400 attendees.
After two years here in Houston, we are sad to leave. The Four Seasons is an amazing place to have an event. Their service is pure quality awesomness.
Where is it going to be in 2011?
Next up, onward to the 2011 Mom 2.0 Summit in New Orleans, Louisiana. (NOLA) This is the perfect place to step out next. NOLA is a community driven city. How can it not be with all the tests it’s been put through. The Ritz Carlton will be welcoming us with their Southern hospitality April 14-16. There are so many reasons why we felt The Ritz would be perfect for us. We will be unfolding those reasons in the coming months leading up to the Summit.
Cool points: This year The Ritz-Carlton restaurant was transformed thanks to their Executive Chef Matt Murphy. Fresh, organic, seasonal, local and farm to table, that is M Bistro.
Where can I buy a ticket?
Tickets are now on sale for the Mom 2.0 Summit. August 31 marks the end of the Sunbird Special ticket sales. Early Bird Special ticket prices goes up a bit, but don’t wait too long because prices going up are never fun. Read the latest blog post for details.
How can I speak at Mom 2.0?
The Call for Speakers will start on September 1. This will last for the entire month of September. Make sure you are signed up to the Summit email newsletter so you won’t miss all the announcements and that way you will be able to watch it all unfold. Sign up is at the bottom of the Mom 2.0 website.
I’ve never been, what’s it like?
Curious what people are saying, check out our friend Misty’s 2010 Link post. It is a collection of everyone and anyone who wrote a recap of their experience and submitted their link to her and any posts Misty stumbled upon on her own.
Thanks again!
