Iced Cantaloupe Drink

Description

A cantaloupe drink is something you have to taste. This is a refreshing summer drink. Easy to make. I am a big fan of anything blended. I put this recipe in Mexican Cuisine because it reminds me of an Horchata drink.

Ingredients

USE FRESH INGREDIENTS.

1 cup of cold water
1 cup of cantaloupe flesh, seeds, juice
1 1/2 tablespoons of Stevia (or sugar. but I don't use it)
1 1/2 teaspoons lime juice to taste

Bonus:
1/2 Mango

Preparation

Blend everything until smooth. Taste it and add more Stevia or lime juice if needed, up to your tastebuds.

Chill in the refrigerator for 1/2 hour. Strain the mix with a mesh strainer and serve over ice. I like to use crushed ice.

If your feeling adventurous throw in the bonus mango for a little kick. If you do this, add 1/2 cup of cold water. Really this is to taste depending on how melony you want your drink.
