One of my favorite flavors is the Italian Wedding Cake.
We have created so many recipes based on this flavor. For example the Italian Wedding Cookie is an amazing little treat that you can do so much with. Growing up in an Italian family this cookie was used for bridal showers, baby showers, and Christmas parties.
Bridal or Baby Shower
The recipe always stayed the same for each occasion, but the shape of the cookie changes.You would make the cookies in the shape of wedding rings and join them together. Then for baby showers you would create pacifiers, and for Christmas you just make the shape of a ball to resemble snow. This cookie is timeless and you don’t need any fancy ingredients to make it happen.

My mom is hosting a “here comes the baby” dinner for my family next week. When she asked what kind of cake I wanted, I instantly said “Italian Wedding Cake!”. My mom was like “a whaaaaaa?”.
She managed to find a local baker who will make one and I’m tickled because I know everyone (and for sure me) is going to love it. I’m going to point her to the recipes here on TTL once she has a bite of this cake as I suspect she’ll fall in love with the Italian wedding cake flavor like I did (Italian wedding cake martinis anyone?).
