Healthy Fruit Smoothie

Description

For someone who does not cook all the time, a simple, nutritious smoothie is an easy way to get in something fast and delicious.

Servings

1

Ingredients

1 cup fresh or frozen fruit (strawberries, raspberries, frozen peaches)

1 or 2 scoop(s) of protein powder

2 ounces unsweetened cranberry juice

6 ounces of filtered water

1 tablespoon of flaxseed oil

1/4 teaspoon of Stevia Plus to taste

A few ice cubes if you want it really cold and almost frozen

Preparation

Place all ingredients in a blender

Blend until rich and creamy, approx. 2-3 minutes

Notes

I like using frozen fruit because then I can bypass using ice cubes. Also prefer strawberries over everything else. Blackberries are a disaster in smoothies, so avoid those.
