Motivated and Empowered
The week after 300 amazing, influential women leaders of new media (and a few guys for good measure) descended on Houston Texas to Define a Movement. The Tasteful Life & Kirtsy hosted the 2nd Annual Mom 2.0 Summit in Houston, Texas last weekend. The M2S was a smashing success due to our amazing attendees, valuable educational tracks, and great sponsors. We were honored by the feedback we received, and will be making the 2011 M2S even better.

Everyone had something that touched their minds and hearts
Whether it was a Keynote Conversation between Gretchen Rubin and hint-maven Heloise (with a wild & fun Q&A), the Saturday Keynote panel with some of the First Ladies of Blogging, or the richly detailed tracks offering professional, product, and personal insights to grow your brand, your product and yourself.

Extras and content-packed sessions
The powerful Mom 2.0 Exhibit*, and a first-in-the-nation screening of Despicable Me by Universal Pictures led the list, which also included a sneak peak of the new movie Flicka 2 with Q&A from director (and TV heartthrob) Michael Damian, and producer Janeen Damian. They were absolutely the cutest couple at the Summit this year. Barilla sponsored a beautiful lunch with Lorenzo Boni, Executive Chef for Barilla America. The rest of the day was packed with sessions. As with 2009, the take-aways from the 2010 Mom 2.0 Summit were inspiring and empowering.
